    What is SELFIEforTEACHERS?

    SELFIEforTEACHERS is a free online self-reflection tool developed by the European Commission to help educators explore and strengthen their digital competences. It is based on the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu) and supports teachers in understanding how digital technologies are used in their professional practice.

    The tool guides teachers through a structured self-assessment process covering areas such as:

    • Professional engagement and communication;
    • Selection and use of digital resources;
    • Digital teaching and learning practices;
    • Assessment and feedback;
    • Student empowerment and inclusion;
    • Supporting learners’ digital competences.

    SELFIEforTEACHERS is available in multiple languages and provides participants with personalised feedback and recommendations for professional development. It is designed to support reflection rather than evaluation, helping educators identify strengths, areas for improvement and future learning priorities.
